A Tiny Owl Gets Adopted by a Giant Dog, and Their Bond Is Undeniable
MAY 23, 2020 AT 01:51 AM
When Poldi the owlet hatched two days later than the rest of his siblings, everyone realized that this tiny, frail creature needed extra care and attention. But his luck changed when Ingo the Belgian Malinois saved the day. Ingo immediately sensed how fragile Poldi was and took charge. He became the tiny owl’s friend and loyal protector. Both have joined Tanja Brandt’s family, who shares their heartwarming adventures on social media.
After falling in love with this wonderful friendship, we at Buhamster are happy to show the world some of Ingo and Poldi’s best photos.
Poldi and Ingo love spending time together and have become inseparable friends.
Like true friends, they take walks together, have fun playing together, and are already there for each other. The bond of love and trust between these two is truly unique and special.
Ingo hates being away from Poldi and gets very upset. But he instantly perks up when he’s back with his friend, Poldi.
Whenever Poldi feels stressed or unhappy, he immediately flies to Ingo and cuddles him. They look so adorable together!
Tanja takes lots of wonderful pictures of Poldi and Ingo on her Instagram page. Now her page has almost 400,000 followers who enjoy her uplifting and inspirational photos.
When some people see Ingo and Poldi together, they often worry that often try to “save” the owl for fear that Ingo will hurt Poldi. They seem to think two completely different animals can’t get along.
While some photos are spontaneous, some photos are posed by professional photographers. Tanja often uses additional equipment to make her photos look more professionally shot.
However, many fans prefer Tanja’s spontaneous photos because they’re more natural. In this photo, Ingo and Poldi seem deep in conversation.
Ingo is an amazingly smart dog and has helped Tanja take some wonderful photos that have often won awards in Instagram contests.
We’re sure Ingo and Poldi’s adorable friendship will continue to provide Tanja inspiration for more great photoshoots. They certainly brighten our day!
